Updates as it happens at the circuit from the Carbonize Race Team.

22 Jul 2007 - Eastern Creek Raceway, 3:00pm

Craig McMartin, riding the Carbonize Racing Ducati 1098S, completed a successful weekend at Sydney's Eastern Creek Raceway today, using the East Coast Road Race series to gather valuable data prior to the final round of the Australian Superbike Championship in 3 weeks time at the fast Sydney circuit. McMartin completed a best lap of 1:33.8 sec lap of the Eastern Creek circuit, 1.2 sec better than his previous personal best lap. McMartin was very happy with his results considering he only had access to second hand tyres left over from the Qld round of the Australian Superbike Championships and also because he had never ridden the Ducati 1098 at Eastern Creek Raceway before. McMartin is now looking forward to the final round of the Australian Superbike Championships at Eastern Creek Raceway to be held 17 - 19 Aug 2007.

This was even more impressive considering McMartin has never riden the Carbonize Racing Ducati 1098 at Eastern Creek.

20 May 2007 - Symmons Plains, Pro-Twins

After a technical problem caused him to retire from yesterdays race one, Craig McMartin led from start to finish to take the win in the first of 2 races today. McMartin fired the Carbonize 1098 off the line to an early lead while Yamaha FZ1 pilots, Scott Charlton and Jon Cartwright tussled over second position. The leading trio streaked away from the rest of field as the laps progressed and the Yamaha FZ1's of Scott Charlton and Jon Cartwright never look like being able to mount a challenge to Craig McMartin for the win. Charlton finished in second place, Cartwright third while McMartin was never challenged at any stage on his way to the win.
